Are Our Dreams Too Small?

I invite you to what I have been thinking about today.  Are we dreaming too small.  Could it be that we re NOT getting what we want out of live because we base our success no our own intellect and abilities to make our lives different?  I take great pride in reading the bible, reading posts, reading books, reading information that is designed to make me better BUT I still got knocked in the teeth.  I have been kind to people, I live by the ten commandments and I authentically try to do good.... BUT evil is present.  Seems I get on course and by no reason of sensible nature, SOMETHING breaks my stride and I am left to lie alone in my bed in a fetal position in utter tears.

Have you ever been there?

I woke today asking the question yet again, are my dreams too small.  I sent downstairs and had my customary alone time with God and then ate breakfast.   I find that I "absorb" the problems of life - meaning when things happen, no one knows about it because I have gotten so used to opposition it does not phase me much anymore.  Today is different, y'all.  Maybe perhaps what I want is not what God wants and HIS big picture of my life exceeds what I even want for my life.  So I bring myself to you.  What do I mean by that?  I took my issues to the Cross and this time I am leaving them there.

My dream is to help other women and men.  I want to reach out to people and be a "conversation changer".  Anyone who has been in church for any length of time has a story of good times in worship but also the "parking lot prophets" and the "praise inspectors" that are interspersed in the atmosphere.  Men tend to look at women as gold-diggers and women are looking at all men as dogs.  Neither scenario is really the case, though.

I hope to re-ignite the conversations.

Let's dream bigger!  If God wants to exceed what we could ask or think, let's get out of the way and let HIM do it.  This visit to my page is a clarion call to greatness.  Wanna join me?

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Ephesians 3:20-21 (MSG).
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him beglory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)
