Anticipation While Waiting

The bible asks us be anxious for nothing.

Philippians 4:6-7

New King James Version (NKJV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ
While it is imperative to walk after every precept of God's Word - sometimes it feels so hard.  After you have suffered for a while and after you have prayed and after you have been good to people that have not always been good to you I become ANXIOUS to see the page finally turn in my life.  What I mean by having the "page to turn" - if you are like me, you take time to encourage others.  People probably know you are the person who will "give them the shirt off your back".  Likely, you are the one who listens when others cry and offer your own sense of life experiences to cheer them on to their victory.  Sometimes you just want them to TRY to see that you may be hurting too, don't you?
I have good news to tell you, I am just bent and determined to believe that this is the year for US.  We have waited patiently and have been faithful unto God.  This is the year that things turn in our favor.  I just believe it.  I am not throwing holy water in the air and I don't hold Rosary bears to qualify the belief that is within me.
Single-moms (and dads) take heart.  God sees your sacrifice and quiet courage.  Survivors of domestic abuse who are just trying to take the next step, YEP, God sees you too.  The invisible scars from emotional abuse to the horrible silent fits of PTSD.... guess what? .... God sees that too.
I declare and I decree peace in the middle of any storm.  I declare and I decree what the enemy meant for evil - God will serve it to be for your good.  I declare and I decree "double for your trouble".  I declare and I decree the end of the tear soaked pillows and I decree laughter to be your portion.  I declare and I decree supernatural favor - may everything you have ever prayed for manifest itself in a visible way THIS YEAR.
May we only look back at our past as a learning tool - because the best is yet to come.  Dare to declare with me - "This is my year" - Repeat that again.
