HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Depending on where you live, the New Year's preparations are being finalized.  No matter what the temperatures are, thousands are going to be in Times Square waiting for the ball to drop as we usher in the new year.  For me, I am just looking for the symbolic end to a very difficult year!  2017 brought challenges I did not know if I could recover from - but I am still standing!!

In anticipation of 2018 resolutions will be made and resolutions will be broken.  I try to make short term goals and celebrate their completion during different times of the year (not do disappoint myself, I guess). 

I will be going to church and plan to welcome in 2018 on my knees in appreciation for the emotional storms God has brought me through.  Surely, my storm pales in comparison to those who suffered tremendous loss from being in the eye of the many natural disasters that took place this year but pain has a thread - a fainting sense of helplessness to just feeling numb. 

One of the things I intend to do in 2018 is to be more intentional.  Intentional in my circle of associates and intentional in pursuit of God's purpose in my life  God is not giving me details regarding my "next steps" but the steps of a good man (or woman) are ordered by the Lord!!
